Today i tattooed Robin Wilson of Gin Blossoms fame. I was super excited when i found out he asked me to do it specifically for the show. Theyre responsible for some serious hits and have some of the most amazing harmonies. (see the video of my favourite song of theirs ‘Found Out About You’ above). When Robin got there, he had an awesome custom phoenix designed by artists Mitch O’Connell that he wanted me to collaborate on. Obviously Mitch knows what he is doing, ive been a fan of his tattoo inspired art for years, so the line drawing was clean and made sense. It was such a pleasure to tattoo and talk with someone with so much musical experience on such a personal level. Look for pics when the show airs…:/ Thank you Robin.
