This is a pretty common idea people have for some reason. At first i was hesitant, but sometimes i get this weird motivation to do typical ideas. Not sure why, but i had fun doing this and am pretty pleased how it came out. The dead walk. 

Surprised myself how quick this one was. 2 hours. Efficient tattooing is a skill in itself. Im glad i learnt from the best. 

Pretty good day if everything went according to plan. Of course it didnt, but at least i got to do one of these. (see below)

Today my friend BJ Betts came in while hes visiting LA to drop off these awesome gifts. He RULES at lettering and is responsible for now 4 great books that are designed to help tattooers get better at script and writing. First of the pair of hands i just did on Steve. Tattooed him and his girl Mari a couple of years ago. Always a good time when they return!

I had so much fun doing this. I have seen work from artists like Thomas Hooper and Xed Le Hed, in a similar style for years and have always been a a fan of the skill involved. There are more and more people doing it, which is natural, but I had never done much of this style at all. This was his first tattoo and it tripled the already high respect i had for the artists who excel in this style. I would love to do more. 

I LOVE doing feathers. Cool girl, cool tattoo.
