First of the pair of hands i just did on Steve. Tattooed him and his girl Mari a couple of years ago. Always a good time when they return!

I had so much fun doing this. I have seen work from artists like Thomas Hooper and Xed Le Hed, in a similar style for years and have always been a a fan of the skill involved. There are more and more people doing it, which is natural, but I had never done much of this style at all. This was his first tattoo and it tripled the already high respect i had for the artists who excel in this style. I would love to do more.

Man! I got tattooed by Jef Whitehead today at Norms shop Will Rise here in Hollywood. It was such a pleasure. Hes definitely a tattooer i wanted to get something from for so long, so i couldnt pass up this opportunity. Check it out! (sorry for the glare, my creamy white thighs havent seen the sun in years!)

Did this one on Kyes dad and one of my closest friends Ricky. We go way back and some of my best memories are at his house years and years ago in Maroubra. Me learning how to tattoo, not knowing what the hell i was doing, practicing on all the boys from the beach… but knowing nothing mattered except good friends….and of course…the best pie shop in the world. Those will stay with me forever.

LOVED doing this. Father from New Zealand, Mother from England….smells like a tattoo idea. I guess flightless birds can fly after all.
